Leader and founder of Support Beyond Bars, Meagan Ross aka "Aisha" dedicated the past two years to working as an NDIS support worker. Through countless laughs, tears, and challenges, Meagan gained invaluable experience that has prepared her for the next chapter in her journey.

Meagans passion lies in reintegrating NDIS participants into society, particularly those who have faced barriers such as incarceration. Meagan specializes in supporting former inmates as they transition back into the community, helping them regain independence.

And for those who feel like their disability imprisionates them, Meagan wanted a new approach on helping those break free from the limitations that can often feel like a prison in itself.

With a background in web development, graphics, and photography, Meagan’s career path took a profound turn when her mother was involved in a car accident that led to amputation. Witnessing firsthand the support and rehabilitation her mother received through the NDIS, Meagan was deeply moved by the impact it had on her mother’s ability to regain independence and live comfortably. It was in that moment she realized that this was the field she wanted to dedicate herself to.

Helping others has always been Meagan’s passion, and she finds immense fulfillment in knowing that she can make a difference in people’s lives. She is committed to giving her all—110%—to ensuring individuals receive the right support, achieve their goals, and navigate their daily lives with greater ease and independence.

Meagan’s greatest pride and joy is her daughter. Her unwavering love, encouragement, and affection have been the driving force behind Meagan’s journey, shaping her into the person she is today. She is Meagan’s inspiration—her reason to rise each morning with purpose and continue her work in helping others through the NDIS.
